The well-being and health of its staff is very important for Evita, so as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it was organized a meeting in collaboration with the company's doctor, Prof. Asc. Ilirjana Zekja.
Breast cancer is a tumor that develops from the out-of-control growth of the breast's own cells and the abnormal proliferation of breast tissue. The aforementioned cells accumulate and form a tumor, which compresses, spreads and destroys normal breast tissue.
Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer, about one in nine women is affected by breast cancer, and it is not yet possible to determine the cause of its creation. Breast cancer can also affect men, although it is very rare.
During the meeting, Prof. Asc. Ilirjana Zekja. explained and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, the steps that must be followed, starting from self-examination to clinical examinations, risks, ways and advices to reduce them these risks.
Early detection is essential and Pink October is a good reminder to give our body the care it deserves!
